Object-Oriented Programming with Ruby
This is a beginner-friendly session that will use Ruby to demonstrate basic concepts in object-oriented software development: classes, methods, instance variables, and so forth. Code samples will be in Ruby, but you'll be able to apply what you learn to Java, C#, Python, or any other object-oriented language.

Ideally, you'll arrive already knowing the very basics of programming (in any language): what a string is, what a method (or function) is, etc. But even if you don't, this will be a question-friendly environment - interruptions are encouraged!
