Practical MongoDB
In this session, we'll cover the different technologies that were used to bring together into a single, comprehensive application running on MongoDB.
Using Passport.js on our Node.js server, we'll connect to a Facebook page and grab user posts for a given topic. The posts will be stored in MongoDB using Mongoose, then analytics and visualizations will be performed on the data using D3.js. The end result is a website suitable for clients to log in and track the performace of their Facebook group page.
The session will not focus on writing the code, but more on how the individual components tie together to make a complete application.
